Truly a man of God, so pleased to have spent a little time with you. May you rest in peace.

We enjoyed meeting and spending time with David and Alison in Buckinghamshire and are saddened by his passing. With love

David you will be sorely missed. Bob and I so valued your friendship and your ministry in Broadmead and after at Westerleigh and Wells. Your visit with Alison to see Bob and share prayers with us, just before Bob died, was a very special time that I shan't forget. I'm so glad I was able to visit you both in Wells just before you moved. 2 Timothy 4 v 7-8

Soon after moving to my cottage I asked David if he could come and bless it. He did, one room at a time, each with its own unique purpose. That blessing remains 13 years later hanging in pride of place in my bathroom for all who visit there to see. Many have visited the cottage since then and feel a special peace and warmth. I will always remember David for his unique kindness and empathy.

David was a wonderful minister. I always looked forward to the services he took in our Chapel at the almshouse. He was a very pious man who encouraged others in their faith. He will be missed by many. God bless his family in this difficult time.

I am very sorry to hear about David having passed away. He was such a warm and caring person. RIP. Your German friend Elsbeth, with sons Johannes and Ulrich.

Fond memories of our family joining ABC in 1982 when work caused my return to Oxfordshire and we joined ABC. David was instrumental in encouraging me to give some of my time to helping the church alongside Geoff Pratt (Joint Secretaries) and Denise Mulvey (Treasurer). So many memories and especially organising two coaches to Bristol for David's welcome Service at the Baptist Church there. We to last met when he came to help us celebrate the redevelopment of ABC.
